Projects

Some projects from my jobs and my freelance work.

Deloitte Levvia

Deloitte's cloud audit platform. I worked full-stack in a team of 15.

Year
2022
Role
Full-stack developer
Stack
C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, React, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus

The problem

Levvia is Deloitte's platform where the audit team and the client work, share documents and talk in one place.

What I did

The backend is C# and .NET Core on Azure, with Azure Functions and Service Bus for background jobs, and React on the front end. I worked on both, and for a while took tickets straight from the client and fixed production bugs.

How it went

The project is under NDA, so I can't go into details.

Retail Exchange

An order-sync platform for retail brands. I worked on billing and built the QuickBooks Desktop integration.

Year
2018
Role
Full-stack developer
Stack
C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Redis, SignalR, Dapper

The problem

Retail Exchange syncs orders, stock and accounting for brands that sell on Amazon, Walmart, eBay and their own sites.

What I did

I built the QuickBooks Desktop integration in .NET Core. On billing, I co-owned purchase orders, invoices and customer balances, and worked on EDI 945 with the warehouses.

How it went

I was there from 2018 to 2021, in a team of 7. Besides the main work, I sped up some slow data loading in old code and built a few internal tools, like a time-logging system in Node.js, a Slack bot for weekly reports and a shared front-end library.

Paperdaz

A web app for filling in and signing forms by scanning a QR code.

Year
2022
Role
Front-end developer, freelance
Stack
Vue, Nuxt, PWA

The problem

The client wanted to get rid of paper forms: people scan a QR code, then fill in and sign the form on their phone.

What I did

The client had already chosen a PWA so nobody had to install an app. I built the front end in Vue and Nuxt and handled uploading documents, signing, and sharing by QR code. For a short time I also worked on the backend with a team in India.

How it went

I only worked on one stretch of it. Paperdaz is still running, and the code has probably changed a lot since then.

DYF Investing

A stock-picking app for individual investors. I was the only front-end developer in a team of three.

Year
2023
Role
Front-end developer, freelance
Stack
React, Redux, Figma

The problem

DYF Investing was a US startup building a stock-picking app. It scored S&P 500 companies and estimated a fair price for each. The client had two backend developers, Figma designs and the data, and needed someone for the front end.

What I did

They asked me which tech to use, and I picked React and Redux. Then I built the whole interface from the Figma designs, charts included.

How it went

DYF Investing launched in December 2023. The startup later shut down.

MyFinance

A personal finance web app for a startup in Germany. I built the interface on my own.

Year
2022
Role
Front-end developer, freelance
Stack
Vue, SCSS, Figma

The problem

The startup wanted to bring a user's bank accounts, crypto, wallets and NFTs into one place, with a retirement planner on top. The designs were ready in Figma and had to work on desktop and mobile.

What I did

I used Vue and plain SCSS, no CSS framework. I set up the styles myself: shared variables for colors and spacing, mixins for breakpoints, one file per component.

How it went

I built more than twenty screens plus their modals, from login to the retirement planner. I handed it over to be connected to the backend, but the startup stopped after that.
